MR. Gershon Ogbuluijah was born in Ataba Andoni, Rivers State. 

He had a brief stint as a Highway Engineer with Rivers State Civil Service, working with the State Ministry of Works and Transport, from where he was hired to set up the Community Develooment Projects Section in Nigeria Agip Oil Company Ltd.

While at Agip, at various times, he held the positions of Community Development Projects Coordinator,  Logistics Superintendent, Infrastructure, Estate Maintenance and rose to become  HSE Manager for Nigerian Agip Explorattions Ltd (NAE), with responsibility for offshore safety. He is a member of (RIWAMA),  and holds the fellowships of Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).

Mr. Ogbuluijah currently have  interests in engineering, property development, event management and photography.

He loves the outdoor life, long distance and has successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2022.

Outside Africa, he has also visited the UK, USA, Italy, Switzerland, the UAE and Turkey.

Giving back to community is one of his passions and he is currently leading an environmemtal conservation effort to plant 2000 trees in his community, Ataba.

He is married to Dr. Justina Ogbuluijah, and they have four children.
